Holiday homework part 1 : Understanding the Elderly Challenge
Q1. The four key recommendations are that there are places for the elderly to stay in, everywhere that is frequented by elderly will be easy for them to access, they will have many health and elder services and they will be allowed to go and bond with their families and friends.
Q2. They are recommending to provide for more rental housing options for seniors.
Q3. We could top up Medisave accounts of less well off Singaporeans when there are budget surpluses and family practitioners should be holistic based for seniors.
Q4. I could help by looking around and checking whether a building is built that is not convenient for the elderly to access, by chatting and making friends with some elderly, and by making visits to places frequented by the elderly and performing in front of them to entertain them.
